Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Bubbble collects, why, and what control you have over it. We handle personal data in line with Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. What we collect

2. What we do not collect
We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials. Those go directly to Google Play or the Apple App Store, whichever you bought through. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with a reference number.
3. How we use your data
- To operate your account and show your profile to other members
- To process membership payments and activate your access
- To respond when you contact us
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access
- To meet legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with:
- Google Play and the Apple App Store — to process payments. Their privacy policies apply to the payment data you enter with them.
- Our hosting provider — who stores the data on our behalf under contract.
- Other members — your profile information is visible within the service, by design.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose it.
5. Your profile is visible to other members
Bubbble is a social platform. Your name and profile photo are shown to other members. Please do not put anything in your profile that you would not want another member to see.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account we remove your profile and photo. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically eight years, and are not used for any other purpose.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Uploaded photos are re-processed on our server to strip embedded metadata, including any location data your camera recorded. Access to the database is restricted.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your account and personal data
- Withdraw consent for optional processing
Write to us using the details on our Contact page and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first, to protect your account.
9. Children
Bubbble is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and its data immediately.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you directly.
